A haunting tale for the dark winter evenings about a sinister Scottish island and a girl who never grows up. The strange and perpetually youthful Mary Rose disappears suddenly and entirely, at first for weeks and then for many years, with no awareness of the passage of time during her absence. Where did she go to? Who, or what, is the young girl who returns from the distant past, surprised and disturbed by the aging of her family, an aging process that has not, it would appear, affected her? Spooky, comic, eerie and heartbreaking drama from the creator of Peter Pan.
